City University of Seattle students actively participate in national cybersecurity competitions that provide hands-on, real-world experience beyond the classroom. Through events such as the National Cyber League (NCL), students apply technical skills, collaborate in team-based challenges, and strengthen their problem-solving abilities.

These competitions support professional growth by helping students build confidence, expand their practical knowledge, and develop experiences they can showcase in portfolios, interviews, and on LinkedIn.
