Director's Note

As the Center/Program Director, I welcome you to the City University of Seattle’s Center for Cybersecurity Innovation (C4CyI), an NSA/DHS designated Center of Academic Excellence (CAE). Our center has a unique approach to integrating cybersecurity into the 21st Century technology & computing landscape.

In 2020, the School of Computing & Technology (STC) officially became the newest school led by Dean Sam Chung.  We renamed The Center from The Center for Information Assurance Education to C4CyI to reflect our holistic systems-thinking design methodology.  Cybersecurity is an element designed into our programs; it is not an afterthought.

We start the year with four grant funded projects.  Two projects increase the number of high school cybersecurity teachers as we look at addressing the next generation of security savvy technology professionals. Two projects support adults transitioning into cybersecurity.
