On September 17–18, 2025, City University of Seattle’s Center for Cybersecurity Innovation under the School of Technology and Computing hosted the Implications of Artificial Intelligence for Educators workshop in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE). The two-day workshop brought together 53 attendees from across the university community who actively participated in the sessions.
Designed to help educators integrate AI tools into teaching and curriculum development, the workshop explored practical applications of AI in lesson planning, assessment, and ethical classroom use. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises focused on design and AI content creation.
CityU faculty and staff attendees reported sharing the workshop materials and insights with their peers. Based on positive feedback, with an average satisfaction score of 4.8 out of 5, participants have requested that CityU host the workshop again in 2026.
