The iKW AI Summer Camp brings students from Kyungwoon University to CityU’s Seattle campus for hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, English communication, and American culture — combining classroom learning with an individual and group capstone project.

For four weeks this summer, students from Kyungwoon University traded their home campus for Seattle, joining CityU’s classrooms for an immersive introduction to artificial intelligence. Beyond the coursework, the program was designed as a full cultural and linguistic experience — students lived, studied, and collaborated entirely in English, learning as much from daily campus life as from the curriculum itself.

The camp balanced individual study with team-based work, culminating in a capstone project. Working in small groups, students applied what they had learned about AI to design and pitch an original business concept — turning a month of lectures into a single, tangible idea they could call their own.
