Dr. Sam Chung, Dean of School of Technology and Computing (STC)
Where has the summer quarter gone? It is Week Ten already! In keeping with the STC tradition, we are holding the Applied Research Symposium (ARS) today. Why is it important for you to attend? There are several reasons. The ARS provides you, as a graduating student, the opportunity to present your capstone project. This is the culmination of your degree at City University. This project can be the first step toward publishing a paper or presenting at a conference. A capstone can lead to a promotion at work, a new position, or the first step to your new career. I would like to invite you to the STC ARS Summer 2022 Symposium (Thursday, September 8, 2022, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM). Come and support your colleagues who are graduating from STC. You can learn about their research areas and review how they present their topic. You will be preparing your capstone soon. So, by observing quality presentations and attending the ARS, you will have examples that will help you in the future.
